Thomas Antous bought T.W. Bartley; the company previously located at 9 Balmforth. Him and his wife Mary (Libby) later had three sons George, Morris, & Fred and one daughter, Freda. Thomas and his wife spent their life together dedicated to setting the foundation of the company that one day would be passed down to their children.
After they had returned home from the war their father transferred ownership of the company to be divided equally among the three of them. A partnership was then created.
Fred, the youngest of the three, & his wife Betty were the only to have children. Four sons, Thomas, Richard, Fred, and Joseph, and one daughter Patricia. In 1980, the company was passed on for the next generation to continue the family business.
